Residents of the Georgino Andrade neighborhood have 3 new streets

The Streets for the People Program continues to guarantee progress to Nicaraguan families, with the delivery of a road improvement project in the Georgino Andrade neighborhood, Guanacaste Sector of District VII of Managua, where the asphalt coating of 3 new streets that were previously in its natural state.

“Already on the eve of the Managua patron saint festivities, celebrating and handing over these 3 new streets to the residents, who needed an investment of 1,400,000 córdobas and which benefits a good number of residents in this sector, it is a neighborhood that has more than 1 thousand 300 houses and in which we have more than 10 thousand inhabitants. With these three streets we have already reached 724 new and improved streets in our Managua, which lead us to 87 percent compliance with the initial plan.”

Armas added that the Good Government directed that the road projects in the neighborhoods be continued and a new budget was available to have more than 1,000 new streets by the end of this year 2022.

The families were very happy with the new work for the common good, as expressed by the resident Pedro Bustos who took the opportunity to thank President Daniel and Compañera Vice President Rosario Murillo and the Mayor's Office for carrying out this development and well-being project, "we appreciate to the Good Government, it is a project that we already expected, the streets are very beautiful, before there were ponds and holes, now we have to keep it clean and that it is always beautiful”.
