Families from the Plaza España neighborhood inaugurate Sanitary Drainage Project

The inhabitants of the Plaza España neighborhood inaugurated with a cultural afternoon the sanitary drainage project carried out by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in this community, through this year's Annual Investment Plan.

The construction project of the new sanitary drainage system had an investment of almost 6 million córdobas, benefiting 1,500 protagonists and was the most sensitive demand of the 384 families that live in this sector, informed the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the delivery of the work

“We feel proud and it fills us with satisfaction to deliver this project that was waited for by all of you, for 32 years and that was possible thanks to the coordinated work between you and us, thank you for trusting in our Good Government led by Commander Daniel and Vice President Rosario Murillo”, said Rueda.

Within the scope of the project are the installation of 1,500 linear meters of pipe for sanitary sewage, construction of 26 manholes and 150 household connections to the new drainage.

At the same time, Rueda explained that this year more than 30 million córdobas were allocated from the Annual Investment Plan for projects in District I.

Mayra Guevara, is one of the founders of the neighborhood and she explains that the new sanitary drainage system improves the quality of life for everyone.

“We are happy with this project, because our pockets had to take out 3,000 cordobas to clean the drain when it was full and those who had latrines had to make a new one when the one in use was full, the land ended up plagued by so many holes , but thanks to our President and Compañera Rosario that is over, thanks to the will of the Good Government”.
