Municipal authorities accompany the citizens of the Roza del Camino

This Sunday, July 24, Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayordoma of the Traditional Festivals of the People of Managua 2022, participated in the Roza del Camino route, which took place in an atmosphere of joy, culture and tradition.

The Roza del Camino began at 7:00 in the morning, from the Gancho de Caminos in the Oriental market, heading for the Cruz del Paraíso, accompanied by the Traditionalist Festival Committees, which advanced coordinated to the rhythm of the philharmonics and the detonations of rockets and mortars, celebrating the August festivities for another year.

“Part of the devotion that families have to their Patron Saint, Santo Domingo and us this morning, from very early accompanying the families with great affection, with great faith, with great devotion, as part of the Managua Festivities” Wheel declared.

At the same time, Mayor Rueda thanked the Traditionalist Committees for assigning them the Stewardship and is part of the unconditional support provided by the Good Government of Commander Daniel and Vice President Compañera Rosario Murillo, to all the Traditional Festivals in the country.

“Thank God and thanks to the support of the Government and the Mayor of Managua, we begin the festivities of the capital once again with the path of the Roza del Camino, these are the festivities of Managua, a waste of culture and we are going to accompany to all the citizens of the capital in the Vela del Barco, in the Vela del Toro, in the Vacas Culonas, in short, so many beautiful activities”, shared Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.

For his part, Raymond Chávez, a traditionalist from the family of Lisímaco Chávez, highlighted the joy and order in which this festivity was held, thanking the support provided by institutions such as the Managua Mayor's Office, the National Police and Firefighters.
