Fully rehabilitated House Museums of Paseo Xolotlán

As part of the rescue and conservation of the historical memory of the capital, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out maintenance works on the replicas of the museum houses of General Augusto C. Sandino, Blanca Arauz, the birthplace and the archive house of Rubén Darío, located on the west side of Paseo Xolotlán.

The rehabilitation work consisted of the application of general painting, repair of roof structures, wood, furniture, improvement of the electrical system; in addition to the manufacture and installation of banners.

"We Nicaraguans rejoice at all the advances and transformations, thanks to the political will of our Good Government, excited to deliver these completely renovated house museums for the enjoyment and enjoyment of families," said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado during the delivery ceremony.

These replicas of the museum houses were built and inaugurated in September 2015 and are part of the third stage of Paseo Xolotlán, they are open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Sunday.
