During the international warm-up, three volleyball teams from the clubs of Honduras (Fénix), El Salvador (Spikers) and the two-time champion team of the first division league Leonas of the Managua Mayor's Office competed for Nicaragua.

The culmination of this sports day was presided over by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who reiterated the support provided by the Good Government to sports in its different disciplines.

“A very sporty weekend, we are having many international events in our country, those are the guidelines that the government of Comandante Daniel has given, to do a lot of sports and here we have the test with the Lionesses of the Mayor of Managua, playing this weekend week with Honduras and El Salvador”.

He also recalled that in recent weeks in Managua there have been Central American tournaments in women's volleyball, youth athletics, senior athletics, Central American fencing championship and children's boxing.
