Youth Games develop Indoor Volleyball Championship

The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, through the Sports Directorate, held this Saturday afternoon, July 9, one more match of the Indoor Volleyball Championship, as part of the Managua 2022 Youth Games, on the Luis Alfonso Park courts. Velasquez Flores.

It was a very competitive afternoon for the players in the women's category; Granada Sharks VS Juvenile Lionesses, Granada Sharks VS JF Academy, Las Sirenas VS Infantile Lionesses and JF Academy VS Juvenile Lionesses. Simultaneously they faced each other in the men's category; Los Leones VS Academia FNVB, Academia JF VS Academia FNVB and Los Leones VS Academia JF.

There are 4 continuous months of sports entertainment for families in the capital, which are guaranteed by this indoor volleyball competition, which officially started on May 14. The games will be held on Saturdays starting at 3:00 in the afternoon and will be held on the volleyball courts of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, where the little fans will demonstrate all their potential at the highest level, to obtain the title. of champions.

Throughout this sports day, 27 teams participate, made up of: 12 teams in the female youth category, 8 teams in the female mini volleyball category and 7 teams in the male youth category, which are mostly from the academies of the entire department of Managua, including teams from Granada and Masaya, which are made up of 600 players among children, adolescents and young people for the youth and children's categories.
