From July 3 to 10, Managua will host the Williamsport Latin American Children's Baseball Championship, a sporting event that will qualify for the World Championship to be held in Pennsylvania next August.
This Baseball championship will take place in the children's stadiums of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, the Hugo Chávez Frías sports complex and in the ENEL Central field, with the participation of children between 11 and 12 years old; the participating countries are Honduras, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Nicaragua, shared the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales.
