This Thursday, June 23, the date on which Father's Day is celebrated in Nicaragua and which also commemorates the 86th anniversary of the birth of the Father of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, Commander Carlos Fonseca Amador, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, through of the “Bismarck Martínez” Program handed over 100 new homes to protagonist families in the Villa Jerusalem Urbanization, located in District VII of the capital.
During the opening ceremony, the Secretary of the Council of Managua, Jennifer Porras López, shared that the Municipality, in a joint work with the Good Government, led by Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario Murillo, totaled 3,100 homes delivered to families who already They have their own home in Villa Jerusalem and Villa Flor de Pino, urbanizations with all the basic services guaranteed.
“Today we have the honor, the satisfaction of fulfilling 100 more families, with the delivery of their home, which comes to transform the lives of these families and that commits us to continue this tireless fight, to make those dreams come true for all our heroes and martyrs,” added Porras.
With great joy, these beneficiary parents together with their families gave thanks for allowing them to reach the goal they longed for so much, as Don José Marcelino Ramírez Vargas expressed it, "I feel happy for being Father's Day, I congratulate our Commander Daniel Ortega for doing this great work, these are the progress we have with our government, now I will live in better conditions, because I will no longer get wet and I will not be renting”.

Villa Jerusalem has houses of 54 meters of construction with an area of 120 square meters, they are made entirely of blocks, have space for two rooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and shared dining room, in addition to the basic services of electricity, drinking water , storm drainage, wastewater and the execution of complementary works such as streets and platforms. Also, families will enjoy parks, schools, health centers, police station, CDI, offices of the Mayor of Managua, market and bus terminal. The goal for this year is to deliver 3,600 homes and 2,000 lots.
