Residents of the Larreynaga neighborhood satisfied with their new paved streets

Gathered in community and celebrating with great joy, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated the asphalt paving of 3 new blocks in the Larreynaga neighborhood, as part of the Streets for the People 2022 Program, turning 2,211 families of this sector of District IV.

The work was delivered by the companion Jennifer Porras López, Secretary of the Council of Managua, who expressed the commitment of the Sandinista Government to improve the living conditions of the population, through these works of the Common Good, which had an investment of 855 thousand 747 córdobas. .

"More than 25 years waiting for these streets, we give thanks and deliver with great joy, bringing that well-being, health, connectivity between neighborhoods, residents, transportation and the children who go to school, who will already travel with complete peace of mind and safety," he said. For their part, the protagonist families thanked the Good Government for this work of restitution of rights, through which their living conditions are significantly improved.

"This is a great effort made by our government, in order to give the people the satisfaction of having passable streets and that allow all possible security, we hope that this Good Government will continue to lead to continue fighting poverty," said resident Freddy Gary.

With these new blocks, the Calles para el Pueblo 2022 Program has a global progress of 76,83%, with 640 blocks improved, of the 833 projected to be served this year.
