In tribute to the 127th anniversary of the birth of the General of free men and women, Augusto C. Sandino, the Bismarck Martínez Housing Program delivered 100 more homes this Wednesday, May 18, in Villa Jerusalem, located in District VII of the capital.
During the delivery, the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, shared with the new inhabitants of this urbanization, "With 12 days left to celebrate Mother's Day, today we pay tribute to General Sandino, thus making more children, youth and whole families are happy, with this delivery the Bismarck Martínez Program achieves a scope of 3 thousand homes delivered, this year will be a year of great victories since the people will ratify the people in power”.
Martha García, a 32-year-old mother of three girls, was one of the beneficiaries who received her new home.
“Today I feel happy, because thanks to this Good Government that we have I am no longer going to continue filming with my daughters, I had been renting for 6 years and when I wanted to apply for a house they told me that I do not earn enough to access credit for a house. , this government is the only one that has thought about and cared about us poor people, my three daughters, my mother, my sister and I are going to live in this house,” García said.
David Barbosa is a young man who works and supports his family and due to lack of resources he had to rent.
“I am grateful to the Lord who allowed me to benefit from this project, it is hard and difficult to rent, but thanks to this program that our Good Government promotes, walking from top to bottom with my two daughters, that is left behind, I am happy and I call on families who have nowhere to live to go to the Mayor's Office and ask what they should do, this project is real and was created for families who have no resources, "said the protagonist Barbosa.
The Bismarck Martinez Program is a social interest housing project and reaches families that do not have enough resources to obtain their own home. The goal for this year is to deliver 3,600 homes and 2,000 lots.
