The AAA Baseball Championship of the Youth Games begins

The championship season started again in its different disciplines, as part of the Managua 2022 Youth Games, with the inauguration of the AAA Youth Baseball game, this Saturday, May 14, at the San Luis field in District IV.

This event promotes the young talent of the capital city, expanding the pool of athletes and training new sports stars, which guarantees entertainment, fun and opportunities for integration in all the territories of Managua.

“We did not have the AAA league incorporated, which represents an achievement and a triumph, both for the young people, as well as for the academy of the Managua Mayor's Office and the coaches, we can say that we already have all ages covered, from 4 years at 18”, said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the opening ceremony.

He also expressed that the youth games have been a platform to identify young athletes, who in the future can proudly represent Nicaragua and that this year has the participation of 20 disciplines, with more than 100 thousand athletes in all categories.
