Andrea Abelina Blass Bojorge and her family are very happy when they receive the keys to their new house, which was built through the Decent Housing Program promoted by Good Government through the Municipality.
The beneficiary is from the Las Jagüitas region and for more than 40 years she lived with her two children, in risky conditions, she reported that her old house was in poor condition, it was made of zinc, it was already tartar and it had many holes, which it made the winter seasons distressing, because the water passed them, "now I feel happy, thanks to the President and to the compañera Rosario Murillo, to the Mayor's Office and the political secretary of my neighborhood because they have helped me, they are the only who care about the poor and that is why we should be supporting our government, my new little house suited me, like rain in May. Thank you for this blessing,” she said excitedly.
The Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López, was present at the official act, who ratified the commitment of the Sandinista Government to work for the well-being of families.
“In the month of the mother, this month of May, she will be able to enjoy this privilege of living with dignity, because health conditions and economic conditions are already improving, she can now think of other priorities, in this way, these programs are advancing, they are transforming, they are programs aimed at the families that need it most,” said Porras.
The official reported that with this delivery, a total of 19 families benefited in this sector with new housing infrastructure, in addition to other projects aimed at road improvement, construction of curbs, fords, installation of grids and gabions to mitigate critical points and for this year, the Municipality has projected the execution of more impact works in this area, such as the IV stage of lining the channel in the Germán Pomares neighborhood.
