Calles para el Pueblo builds 4 new blocks in zone C of the Las Torres neighborhood

Guaranteeing better conditions of access and road traffic for the families that live in zone C of the Las Torres neighborhood, located in District IV, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, carried out the asphalt coating of 4 new blocks through the Program Streets for el Pueblo, with an investment of 1.5 million córdobas.

With this road work, Zone C of the neighborhood is covered in its entirety. These streets spent more than 30 years in their natural state and are now part of a passable and accessible road network, as reported by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López, during the inauguration ceremony.

“Today it is made possible thanks to a unique model presided over by our Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario through the Mayor’s Office of Managua, our commitment is to continue building, it is to continue reaching families in any corner of the capital, so that we can continue transforming”, stressed Porras.

The very happy families affirmed that the impassable streets are already part of the past, “before these streets were made of dirt, when it rained the children suffered, all muddy, when repairing the streets the cars, the caponeras, the truck of the garbage, the streets are very beautiful, thanks to our Good Government in this neighborhood all the streets are ready, the entire population is very happy”, said Mrs. Arlen Aguilera.

The Good Government from 2010 to date has invested a little more than 24 million córdobas in road works, storm drainage and sanitation in this area of Managua.
