Work to improve streets in the neighborhoods 11 and 13 de Mayo of District V

Guaranteeing well-being and a future for families in the capital, municipal authorities handed over this Thursday, April 7, 10 paved blocks in neighborhoods on May 11 and 13, directly benefiting more than 2,700 inhabitants of this sector of District V, who now They will live in better conditions.

This road improvement is part of the Calles para el Pueblo 2022 program and had an investment of 5,197,500 córdobas.

“These are two neighborhoods that adjoin the Enrique Smith, Germán Pomares, Ciudadela Nicaragua sector, where we have carried out important projects such as road improvement, storm drainage and sanitary sewerage, here was a danger zone, a critical point where we have been working with works of mitigation”, affirmed the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the delivery of the work.

 The capital official announced that an important work will soon be delivered in Ciudadela Nicaragua with the construction of a bridge box, which will unite the Enrique Smith with Germán Pomares and 13 de Mayo neighborhoods, guaranteeing a new access road to these neighborhoods. and reducing the vulnerability of the families that live on the slopes of the riverbed, a work that is part of the 77 projects of the Winter 2022 Plan.

In general, with regard to the Calles para el Pueblo program, in the last 13 years, this emblematic program has built 8,500 new blocks and rebuilt another 4,500 throughout the municipality of Managua, that is, care has been provided to 1,000 blocks per year and significantly improved the lives of families in the capital.
