After living in a home in poor condition and with the fear that it would collapse every winter, this Tuesday, April 5, the family of the protagonist Martha Jerónima Mejía Rodríguez, received the keys to their house built by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in the June 14 neighborhood of District I.
"I feel satisfied and happy because thanks to God, Commander Daniel Ortega, Vice President Rosario Murillo, the Mayor's Office and all the neighborhood coordinators who helped me make my dream come true," said Mrs. Martha Mejía, who will now live peacefully in company of his 10 children and 8 grandchildren.
This delivery was made by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who affirmed the commitment and immediate response provided by the Sandinista Government to the most needy families.
“Sharing the joy with the families of the neighborhood, delivering a new decent home, the ninth home that is delivered here on June 14, the compañera has lived here for more than 40 years in the area, she came for 5 years and thanks to God and our Good Government will now be able to face the rainy season,” said Armas.
