For two consecutive days, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, through the Sports Directorate, will give the Fundamentals of Training Update Course, aimed at 40 sports trainers from the 13 academies of the capital, who have been in constant training with talks, sports workshops in psychology and teaching methodology, during these months.
The objective of this seminar is to transmit more tools for the education of boys, girls and young people between the ages of 6 and 17 who are part of sports academies, including swimming, court tennis, table tennis, baseball, boxing, soccer, athletics, martial arts, chess and basketball, shared the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales.
“We are going to be with our coaches, this Monday and Tuesday, sport is always gradually becoming more technical, President Daniel and Compañera Rosario have directed promoting sport in all its modalities, categories, disciplines and this seminar is aimed at work better”, affirmed Armas.
The training will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be given by coach Wilbert Altamirano, from the UNAN-Managua Sports Directorate, Mario Zavala, President of the Nicaraguan Judo Federation and coordinator from the Taekwondo academy of the commune and Nelly Zelaya, an expert in sports psychology.
“Currently we have more than 14 sports disciplines, more than 85 instructors, at the departmental level, in all the districts of Managua and the sport is developing, apart from the massification we have achieved incredible results and one of the themes is high performance, how are we going to develop the ability and planning, that is the objective, to demonstrate that our teachers are not empirical, but also professionals”, said Zavala.
