Residents of the Buena Vista Annex neighborhood inaugurate improved streets

The inhabitants of the Buenos Vista Annex neighborhood located in District III inaugurated this Friday, April 4, 4 blocks of road network with an investment of 3 million 418 thousand 272 córdobas through the Streets for the People Program.

 This work for the common good directly benefits 500 protagonist families that live on the route and serves as an alternate route for the residents of 3 more neighborhoods, said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the inauguration ceremony.

“These streets spent 40 years in their natural state and now they are part of a passable and accessible road network. With the inauguration of these stables, the Program achieves an advance of 37 percent”, added Rueda.

In this neighborhood of the capital, from 2009 to date, an amount of more than 6 million córdobas has been invested in projects for the well-being of families in this sector.
