Rehabilitated public space in the Batahola Norte neighborhood of District II

The Government of the People's President through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated this Thursday morning, March 24, a space for healthy recreation in the Batahola Norte neighborhood of District II, to bring joy and recreation to families.

“We are in North Batahola delivering, on behalf of Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario, some important improvements in the park in this area, an investment of one and a half million córdobas has been made for the joy of all the residents, of the children, of young people”, said the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales.

The rehabilitation of the Gaspar García Laviana Park in District II of the capital included the improvement of the stands and in parallel the filling of concrete in footings and pedestals in the second stands, the 50% in new platforms, in addition to the installation of children's games , relocation of concrete benches, construction of a planter, repair of water fountains, in addition to painting and ornamentation in general. Also the installation of exercise machines and the maintenance of lighting.

For this year 2022, 171 parks, courts and sports fields will be rehabilitated throughout the municipality, as part of the rehabilitation and renovation work of public spaces carried out by the Municipality through the Department of Ornament in the 315 existing public spaces in the capital. .

Nohelia Munguía said she was very happy with the rehabilitated work, “for us, the residents of Batahola Norte, we thank the Good Government and the Mayor of Managua for giving us this great blessing and health through those exercise machines and for free, we can bring our children to recreate, while we do our exercises”.
