











Families from the capital enjoyed a musical and poetry concert in tribute to the 203rd anniversary of the foundation of the Leal Villa de Managua, a cultural activity that took place this Thursday, March 24, in the Bicentennial Park of the Capital.
This commemoration was presided over by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, municipal officials and special guests, who enjoyed a variety of musical pieces dedicated to Managua, performed by the group "Los Clarineros" and a poetry recital recited by the poets Emilio Zambrana, Tito Leiva and Camilo Membreño.
Mayor Rueda highlighted the evolution that the Capital has had since it received the title of Leal Villa de Managua; Likewise, he pointed out the transformations in recent years with the Sandinista Government, "in infrastructure as well as in the quality of life of families, in the rescue and formation of values, thanks to the policy promoted by our Good Government." .
The event ended with the delivery of an oil painting dedicated to Managua and made by the plastic artist Jorge Avilés, who delivered it to the building authorities on behalf of the Guardabarranco Cultural Movement.
