The hours of recreation of the children and young people of the San Judas neighborhood will be better starting this Wednesday, March 23, with the park and the Róger Deshon sports field completely rehabilitated, thanks to the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua.
For the rehabilitation of this recreation space, the Municipality worked on the repair of the children's games, the perimeter fence, lights, drinking fountains, bleachers, park platforms and the concrete floor of the multipurpose court, in addition garbage baskets were placed, Paint was applied to the metallic structures and the general cleaning of the complex was carried out.
With all this, it directly benefits more than 19 thousand inhabitants of the San Judas neighborhood, one of the largest in District III, the work had an investment of 900 thousand córdobas.
The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, presented this work for the common good and stated that only the policies and strategies of the Good Government make these changes in families possible, "recreation and leisure are vital for the optimal development of beings human and well, we have created those conditions, promoting these projects, rehabilitating existing spaces, but also making new projects for the healthy recreation of children, youth, older adults”, he referred.
For his part, Moisés López, who plays soccer in these facilities, thanked the Sandinista Government for repairing the sports complex that gives him the opportunity to train in his favorite sport, in this park that is near his home.
"We are happy with these improvements made by the Mayor's Office, only the Good Government of our Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario gives us these recreational spaces that help us practice sports for a better life," said the young protagonist Roberto José Morales Ochoa.
