







Giving continuity to the improvement of the quality of life of the capital's families and the circulation of the vehicular flow in the Motastepe neighborhood of District II, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out the asphalt coating of 3 blocks, through the Program of Streets for the Town.
The work, which is an alternate route for access to the Police Hospital, was inaugurated by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who reported that it had an investment of 2 million 143 thousand 312 córdobas and directly benefits 400 inhabitants of this sector of Managua.
“Very happy handing over 3 long streets to the population, the neighborhood is practically complete as far as its streets are concerned, there is only one block left, here in the Motastepe area the streets are long and wide, on behalf of Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario”, said Armas.
The mayor of the capital shared that, throughout this area, important investments have been made in recent years that exceed 9 million córdobas in road improvement works and the construction of Solidarity Housing.
For their part, the population expressed their joy at receiving this new work that brings progress to their community, "giving thanks to God and our Good Government, this has been a struggle, today it is a reality, we are going to enjoy it, not only me , but the entire population”, said the beneficiary Juana Paula García Martínez
Doña Rosa Ana Espinoza stated that she had been waiting for decades for this project, which not only improves their health due to the wind and dust, but also gives more value to their properties.
For this 2022, in this District II, the Capital Commune has already started with the road improvement in Batahola Sur and Motastepe, through the Streets for the People Program, a water and sanitation project in Linda Vista Sur, rehabilitation of the Gaspar García Laviana park in Batahola North and construction of curbs in the following neighborhoods: Denmark, Heroes and Martyrs of Batahola, Santa Ana Central and Julio Buitrago North.
The emblematic street program in the last 13 years has built 8,500 new blocks and rebuilt another 4,500 throughout the municipality of Managua, that is, care has been provided to 1,000 blocks per year and significantly improved the lives of capital families.
