First Municipal Council year 2022

Complying with the Citizen Power model and with the Law of Municipalities, the Honorable Council of Managua held the First Information Council of the year 2022, where the report corresponding to the fourth quarter of municipal management of the year 2021 was presented.

The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, read the executive report for the months of October to December 2021, in which it was reported that total income amounted to more than 1,160,960,204 net córdobas.

"In Calles para el Pueblo we met the goal, we had 830 blocks to execute in 2021, however we finished with some 1 thousand 315 blocks executed, the commitment is to continue working, advancing, bringing these welfare works to the families of each one of the neighborhoods,” said Rueda.

For this year, the Municipality has scheduled the construction of 833 blocks through the Calles para el Pueblo Program and with the Decent Housing Program, the delivery of 200 new homes is scheduled, of which 26 have been delivered, as well as the continuity of the projects of the Annual Investment Plan (PIA).

He also reported that in this year 2022 the Capital District will invest 7 billion córdobas for different progress works, highlighting the asphalt coating of streets, construction of social housing through the Bismarck Martínez Program, as well as the delivery of prefabricated houses to families affected by natural phenomena or other incidents.
