Minor League Soccer National Championship

This Saturday, March 12, the quarterfinals of the minor league soccer national championship were held, in which 8 teams participated in the categories of U13, U15 and U17, in the male and female branch.

The games were held on the field of the Thomas Cranshaw stadium, in a family and community atmosphere, with the participation of the Blue Lions teams from the Mayor's Office of Managua, Juventus, Masaya, as well as the Chinandega tigers and captains.

The U-13 team of the Blue Lions of the Mayor's Office of Managua advanced to the semifinal and will meet the Real Estelí team; likewise, the U15 women's team of the Blue Lions qualified for the semifinal and will play Diriangén. Similarly, the teams from Masaya and Capitanes de Chinandega advanced to the semifinal of the championship, which is the next round of games.

The sporting event was attended by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who stated that this day is part of the commitment and support that the Sandinista Government provides to sport in its different disciplines.
