Inhabitants of the Primero de Mayo neighborhood happy to have 100 percent of their streets lined

The Streets for the People Program delivered this Thursday, March 3, a new 7-block road improvement through asphalt resurfacing in the Primero de Mayo neighborhood, located in District IV of the capital, with which 100 percent of the improved streets, directly benefiting 2,670 residents, which correspond to more than 1,000 families in this area.

With 2 million 600 thousand córdobas, the Municipality carried out this new road corridor in the main streets of the Primero de Mayo neighborhood, which in addition to improving the quality of life for the community, unites them with 4 sectors of the same District, such as: USSR, Bello Horizonte, Venezuela neighborhood and Parrales Vallejos, likewise this work connects with the San Rafael, Camilo Zapata, Bello Horizonte, Experimental México schools, among others, also benefiting the children and adolescents who attend these schools, as it gave to meet the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

Rueda reiterated that thanks to the goodwill of the Sandinista Government, the Primero de Mayo neighborhood has been the protagonist of social transformations with road improvement projects, storm drainage and the delivery of 24 homes, guaranteeing housing security to the same number of homes.

“We congratulate each and every one of the brothers and sisters who have believed in our Good Government and continue to accompany it with their fraternal prayers, so that we all continue walking together along these paths of prosperity. So we give you with great affection this work that was requested by you, "said the mayor of the capital.

The Municipality for this year in District IV, will execute 11 projects in road and storm drainage works, with a significant investment, in addition to continuing with the road improvement through Calles para el Pueblo, which to date has 22% progress.

Dalezka Flores, a resident of this neighborhood, said that for years they had expected to see this recarpeting of streets and thanked the Good Government for the projects they carry out for the benefit of Nicaraguans.

"I feel fabulous, because my President Daniel, the compañera Rosario Murillo and the Mayor, ordered the repair of the streets, which were already well damaged by the passage of vehicles, now the streets are good", commented Doña Sonia Martínez, protagonist of this roadwork.
