For the healthy family recreation of all the people of the capital, the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of Managua, began the rehabilitation of 171 parks, courts and sports fields in the municipality with an investment of more than 200 million córdobas, as announced by this Thursday, February 24, Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
During the works supervision tour, Rueda reported that Managua currently has 315 public spaces, "this is for the well-being of families and we ask them to take care of them from the heart, because these spaces really did not exist, here in the García Laviana park in District II there was nothing.
The official shared that only in District II will 8 spaces remain as new and in Gaspar García Laviana the 50% of the platforms will be improved, children's games, exercise machines, concrete benches, the construction of a planter and bleachers will be installed, as well such as the repair of water fountains, painting and ornamentation in general, which has an amount of a little more than 1 million cordobas.
In the 7 districts of the Capital, the Municipality is working on more than 5 parks simultaneously, such as the field in the Cruz del Paraíso region, the Róger Deshon field in San Judas, in addition to the Sandino Memorial park and field, and the Enabin park in District II, among others.
