The protagonist Mayorga and her family, made up of 4 people, lived for many years in extremely vulnerable conditions, “I thank God and our President Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo, who made my dream come true, I have no words to say things, only I know what happened with my daughters, the response was immediate, we are happy, happy, "she said excitedly.
From 2011 to date, the Decent Housing Program has built a total of 54 homes in this neighborhood, benefiting the same number of families, who were in a critical situation, informed the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the opening ceremony.
Likewise, Rueda announced that the Jonathan González neighborhood is no longer the same as before, today it has 80 percent of its streets totally new and has had an investment of more than 53 million córdobas, which were executed through the Annual Investment Plan (PIA) and the Streets for the People Program.
Among the works carried out by the PIA is the construction of 26 blocks of the neighborhood with hydraulic concrete and asphalt lining, construction of drainage works by replacing pipes, construction of inlets and manholes, as well as the repair of home connections of drinking water, sewage and construction of platforms.
Through the Calles para el Pueblo Program, in recent years double treatment works have been carried out on 7 blocks of streets in the neighborhood and road improvement works through asphalt coating on 10.5 blocks of streets.
During the first quarter of the year, the Municipality plans to invest 16 million córdobas in District I, in the construction of a little more than 26 blocks, in the neighborhoods: René Cisneros, Memorial Sandino and the districts of Gracias a Dios and Félix. Pedro Chavarria.
