Self-employed vendor is benefited by the Decent Housing Program

The Decent Housing Program changed the life of the protagonist Indiana Patricia Espinoza García by giving her a new house, in the La Primavera neighborhood of District VI, where she has lived for 40 years and in the last 15, she was in a critical social situation, due to to the deterioration of their old home.

Doña Indiana does not have a permanent job, she earns a living selling used clothing and was indescribably happy when she received the keys to her new home, where as of today, she will be able to live safely and peacefully with 10 members of her family. family, 6 adults and 4 children.

“For many years I waited for this benefit, we lived insecure, in an old house, things got wet every time it rained and the walls were useless and we were always afraid that it would fall on us, however, now that I have this new house , I thank God and the government of Comandante Daniel, because thanks to him many people are benefiting from a home”, commented the beneficiary.

The Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales highlighted that the Decent Housing Program in this neighborhood has benefited 71 families from 2009 to 2022, removing them from vulnerability.

“This is one of the neighborhoods that Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario have supported the most in all these years of Good Government, in this sector alone we have delivered 71 decent homes and countless streets have been resurfaced, parks repaired, sewers built and drainage, with an investment of 140 million córdobas”.

Armas confirmed that this year with the 2022 Annual Investment Plan, the Municipality will carry out 16 projects with an investment of 24 million cordobas in District VI and among the neighborhoods that will benefit are: Jorge Cassaly, Waspán Norte, Quinta Pacheco, B15 , Carlos Núñez, La Primavera Annex, Bertha Díaz, Villa Feliz, Villa Reconciliación North and South, Gertrudis Areas and Colonia Miguel Gutiérrez.
