As part of the model of education for all promoted by the Good Government, the Mayor's Office of Managua, through the Social Program, opened this Tuesday, February 15, the 12 trade and technological courses that will be taught for young people, adolescents and adults in the Acahualinca Technological Center located in District II.
Enrollment for the classes of the first semester of the year 2022, took place during the period from January 31 to February 11, but due to high demand, the places were sold out, exceeding the goal with 287 students enrolled, of the 250 projected.
"We are very happy because this has been a success, really the different courses that we have taken, because we have exceeded the goal in enrollment of the trades and technological courses, here our teachers with much affection and love, also articulated with the National Technological Institute, that each one of our teachers is undergoing technical training,” said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
Among the areas that will be taught are general beauty, sewing, confectionery, cake decoration, makeup, popular guitar, computers, bakery, acrylic nails, barbershop and Nicaraguan sweets.
The courses will be taught from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., completely free.
