IV Day of the Carlos Ulloa Tournament in Memoriam

With the participation of 20 teams from different municipalities of the country, the seventh edition of the Superior Men's Basketball Tournament "Carlos Ulloa in Memoriam" was held, as part of the promotion of sports and healthy recreation in the new generations, which is carried out by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua.

This tournament began on February 5 and this weekend was the fourth day of games, which take place in 16 venues in the different municipalities of the country, in Managua, it was in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, where the Lions teams from the City Hall of Managua and San Isidro de Matagalpa.

During the event, Compañero Noel González, Sports Director of the Commune, expressed the commitment of the Good Government to guarantee conditions for the new generations and the importance of this tournament for the development of national basketball, which opens the doors to young athletes, that according to the regulations of the league, each team must have 3 players less than or equal to 17 years of age.

The Carlos Ulloa basketball championship is the tournament with the largest number of participating teams in the entire country, it will last 3 months and will be played in 16 venues in different municipalities: such as the court in La Libertad, León, Matagalpa, San Isidro , Chichigalpa and Masatepe, as well as at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center and the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park courts.
