The little ones enter the Child Development Centers

More than 500 boys and girls between the ages of 1 and 6, entered this Monday, January 17, the 12 Child Development Centers (CDI), administered by the Municipality in coordination with the Good Government institutions, to start their school year 2022.

The Secretary of the Council of Managua, Jennifer Porras López, shared with the little ones in the Infant and Preschool modality of the CDI Americas II, which will serve this year 84 boys and girls from this sector that bears the same name and from neighboring neighborhoods such as the B-15, Las Mercedes, Unidad de Propósito, in direct support of fathers, mothers or guardians, who are mostly self-employed and have no one to take care of their children while they work.

“These government policies have been building a new reality for families, because they are accessible centers, in these 12 Child Development Centers that we have in the 7 districts, we have an enrollment that varies between 50, 100, 120 children, who have the opportunity for these families to be able to leave their children safely, all the facilities have a quality infrastructure where pedagogy is taught that the Government has allocated to this early learning, so that the little generations grow up with values , principles and skills to develop in the future in different activities”, explained Porras.

Rosa Isabel Balitan, Director of the Americas II Child Development Center, highlighted the confidence parents have in this model implemented by Good Governance by enrolling their little ones in this center, where they start their day at 7:00 a.m. morning at 4:30 in the afternoon, they receive care, learning and food, providing them with breakfast, lunch and a school snack.

Balitan shared that the teachers have the experience and professionalism to serve the little ones, motivating them to speak better, they carry out exercises for the psychomotor development of the minors by doing crafts, among other activities that are worked on during the day, in the case of third grade children already leave reading.
