As of Monday, January 3, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua began the sale and distribution of tread stickers for the capital's vehicle fleet.
“The bearing sticker that we made known since January 3, is being sold in the different types of demand that our population has. The price ranges from 50 córdobas for a motorcycle, to a heavy transport 1000 córdobas, of more than 12 tons. As the light vehicle pays 100 córdobas, our selective transport 125 and so we will be attending from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, in the case of Saturdays until noon, "said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
With the purchase of the sticker, the appreciable taxpayers, in addition to complying with their municipal taxes to circulate on the road network of the capital and the rest of the country, make possible the execution of hundreds of road improvement projects, storm drainage and the beautification of parks and tourist areas of the city.
All vehicle owners have a period of time from Monday, January 3 to March 31 of this year, as indicated by the Taxpayers Law and can be purchased at all Citizen Service Centers located at: Plaza Cuba, National Stadium, Bolivar Avenue, Villa Jerusalem, Garden City and in the facilities of the 7 Districts of the capital, SERVIGOB and National Transit.
The requirements to buy the Vehicle Bearing Sticker are to present a copy of the identity card and a copy of the vehicle's circulation, in the particular case of retired people they are exempt from payment, for them the bearing sticker is totally free.
