Managua welcomes the new year with the unity for prosperity carnival

This January 1, the families of the capital overflowed on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez to welcome the new year 2022, with the “Unity for Prosperity” carnival.

The families gathered to celebrate the joy of living in peace to the rhythm of the drums, the dances and the hubbub of the comparsas.

During the event, Compañera Griselda Rivas, Director of Culture of the Mayor's Office of Managua reported that 1,000 young people from all districts of the capital participated in this carnival.

In the parade there was a waste of art, culture and joy thanks to the participation of 15 comparsas from all the districts of Managua.
