On the afternoon of this Friday, December 10, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated the asphalt coating in 9 blocks of the Las Jagüitas region, thus guaranteeing better living conditions for the 504 families of this District V community. .
This road improvement project was executed through the Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program, which to date has built 1,299 blocks of the 1,242 projected to be served this year.
The work was delivered to the community by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who reported that the Good Government invested 3 million 749 thousand 259 córdobas, in the paving of these access streets to the region.
He also mentioned that in the last 12 years in this sector, 18 million 266 thousand 583 córdobas have been invested, through the execution of road improvement projects, storm drainage, sanitary sewage and the construction of the community park.
For its part, the population expressed its gratitude for this work of progress, as expressed by the young José Noel Aguinaga, who said that before it was difficult to access or leave that sector of the community, because in the winter the road became impassable, for which he thanked the Good Government for the executed project.
