The Secretary General of the Capital District, Compañero Fidel Moreno Briones, made a supervision visit to the Road Improvement Project through asphalt resurfacing in the Jorge Dimitrov neighborhood of District I of Managua on the afternoon of this Thursday, December 9.
The works include the construction of more than 6 blocks of streets, which were totally destroyed and impassable, guaranteeing better conditions for the 16,337 inhabitants of this sector.
“This work for the common good for the 1,527 families in this part of Managua has an investment of 2,630,697 córdobas and is part of the emblematic Calles Para el Pueblo 2021 Program,” said Moreno.
Likewise, the municipal official announced that with this road improvement project the Streets Program reaches an advance of 104%, with 1 thousand 294 blocks served, of the 1 thousand 242 projected to improve in this year 2021.
In his statements, he also highlighted that they will be working in these last weeks of December, where it is expected that the goal of 1,315 total blocks will be achieved, which would establish a historical record for this emblematic program that benefits families in the capital.
