Road works are carried out in the Julio Buitrago neighborhood

A new road improvement project, using asphalt coating, is being carried out in the Julio Buitrago neighborhood, in District II of Managua, as was announced by the Secretary General, Comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, on November 22, during an evaluation visit to the progress of the draft.

This road improvement contemplates the paving of 3 street blocks, which were completely destroyed and impassable, guaranteeing better conditions for the 4,450 inhabitants of this sector of the capital.

"The work for the common good is aimed at 742 families in this neighborhood, has an investment of 710,000 córdobas and is part of the emblematic Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program," Moreno reported.

He added that with this project being executed, the streets program reaches an advance of 98%, with 1,217 blocks served, of the 1,242 projected to improve this year.

In his statements, the capital official also announced that the Municipality will be developing 11 projects in the month of December, 7 of new streets and 4 of recarpeting of main roads, where it is expected that the goal of 1,315 total blocks will be achieved. , which would establish a historical record for this emblematic program that benefits the families of Managua.
