First children's and youth chess tournament

Guaranteeing sports to Nicaraguan children and youth, the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua, held a chess tournament in which more than 50 athletes participated, including the best exponents of the moment in this sport discipline.

This is the first children's and youth chess tournament to be held this year and was developed in the Blitz mode, which is used for games or quick games, all moves must be made in a fixed time of 15 to 60 minutes for each player. ; the computation of said time is carried out by means of a specially designed chess clock.
