The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua continues with the road improvement of the capital, through the Streets for the People Program, mechanized patching is carried out on the main roads of the city, as part of the corrective maintenance of these roads.
Comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Municipality, supervised the progress of these works that are being carried out in 4 sections of the North Highway, where 36 blocks of main roads will be served.
With this plan, it is planned to serve a little more than 80 blocks, in 9 sections of important tracks throughout the city and to date, an advance of 40 blocks has been served in this modality.
This mechanized patching consists of lifting the road layer in poor condition and placing a new asphalt layer, a process that takes place every seven or eight years to ensure the useful life of these high traffic lanes. These tasks are carried out at night to reduce damage and reduce delays in vehicular traffic.
