Comuna Capitalina delivers a new road corridor in the Andrés Castro neighborhood

The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua delivered a new work of progress to the citizens of the capital. On the afternoon of this November 18, a vehicular bridge and the road improvement of a block of street in the Andrés Castro neighborhood of District III were inaugurated, which is part of the complementary works of the Juan Pablo II Highway Expansion Project.

This new structure directly benefits 5,017 inhabitants, from 1,058 families in this neighborhood, who from now on have this alternate route that guarantees smooth vehicular and pedestrian circulation during the expansion works of Section 1 of track.

The investment cost of this work is greater than 5 million córdobas and was delivered by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that the new bridge is part of the road corridor in this area, "the Andrés Castro neighborhood He was totally changed with this route, the families are very grateful, and the promptness to get to the hospital improves the conditions of the families, especially those brothers who move in a wheelchair, on a lift. We are very happy to deliver this work that was already planned in our 2021 budget”.

During the inauguration ceremony, Mayor Rueda congratulated the beneficiaries and thanked them for the trust they have had in the Good Government led by Commander Daniel and Vice President Compañera Rosario, who, in addition to this bridge, has developed other projects that have evidently transformed the road infrastructure in the Andrés Castro.

“Happy with the work that is of great significance for this neighborhood, since it is a road that was needed, given that the Juan Pablo II track is going to be expanded, this bridge will be very useful for the diversion of traffic and accessibility of the residents of this neighborhood, with the main track of San Judas”, said the resident Pablo Area.
