On the morning of this Saturday, November 19, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated the paving of 8 blocks of paved streets in the Salomón Moreno neighborhood of District V, with the aim of improving the quality of life of the families of this community.
This road improvement project was chaired by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that this work is part of the Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program and had an investment of 4,900,500 córdobas, directly benefiting to 4 thousand 605 inhabitants of the community.
He stressed that the Sandinista Government has carried out several road improvement works, storm drainage and the construction of 18 decent homes, with an investment of 9 million 355 thousand 785 córdobas, from 2013 to date and in this year 2021 throughout the country. District V, 64 new street blocks were paved, with the emblematic street program that today complies with 90%, with 1,118 blocks improved, of the 1,242 projected for this year.
For their part, the families of the community expressed their joy with the work carried out, because it improves the living conditions of the inhabitants of the sector, through better access roads and that there will no longer be puddles and dust on the dirt streets, This was stated by Mrs. Martha González, a resident of the neighborhood.
