Germán Pomares neighborhood in District V celebrates the paving of 10 new blocks

The residents of the Germán Pomares neighborhood celebrated with piñatas, cultural activities and a medical day, the inauguration of 10 paved blocks in this District V of the Capital, directly benefiting more than 780 families in the sector.

The road improvement work was delivered this Friday, November 12, to the families by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to improve the living conditions of the families of the capital, through programs and projects that guarantee social development.

Likewise, he announced that the paving of these 10 blocks had an investment of 7 million 260 thousand córdobas and are part of the Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program, which to date has been in compliance with 90% with 1 thousand 118 blocks completed, of the 1 thousand 242 projected to be executed this year.

In this capital neighborhood, the Sandinista Good Government has carried out 12 projects for the common good, from 2009 to date, through road improvement works, storm drainage, sanitary sewage, rehabilitation of public spaces and the construction of 28 decent homes. .

For its part, the population expressed feeling happy because now the emergency vehicles and public transport will enter more easily, as Doña María Calero expressed it.
