Lomas de Guadalupe neighborhood receives Streets for the People project

During a supervision visit for the road improvement project that is being carried out in the Lomas de Guadalupe neighborhood of District VII, the Secretary General of the Municipality, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, reported that 8 total blocks will be paved, through the Streets Program to the village.

The project in execution consists of the paving of 2 sectors of the neighborhood, with an investment of 4 million cordobas, benefiting a little more than 10 thousand protagonists of this community.

He also explained that this is one of the largest neighborhoods in District VII, where approximately 10 works have been carried out for the common good, mainly related to road improvement and storm drainage projects, improving the living conditions of families. of this community.

The capital official shared that the 2021 Streets for the People Program, to date has completed 1,062 total blocks, for compliance with the 85%, of the 1,242 projected to be built in this year 2021.

For its part, the population of the neighborhood was happy with the execution of this work for the common good, as stated by Mr. José María Quintero, who said that now the paved streets will guarantee better living conditions for families in the sector, in addition to They will reduce the sources of pollution created by ponds in the winter and dust storms in the summer.

The young Valeria Hernández said that the children who go to the community school will now be able to walk without difficulty and in a clean space.
