Beach volleyball matches begin at the Youth Games

On the afternoon of this Saturday, October 30, the Managua 2021 Youth Games began the beach volleyball matches, which will take place at the Paseo Xolotlán sports facilities, every Saturday and Sunday.

The event was attended by the Secretary of the Council of Managua, Jennifer Porras López, who highlighted that this activity is part of the policies promoted by the Good Government, to continue promoting youth, through the social programs of the Managua Mayor's Office.

“The men and women participating in this event will be giving their best, in this beautiful discipline, promoted by the Sports Directorate, following those policies that our Good Sandinista Government has, Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario, who have given that support. to youth through sports, these games allow young people to prepare for different national and international events, in order to continue contributing to the country in sports”.

This tournament, which will end in December, will be played on Saturdays by the men's team and on Sundays by the women's team starting at 8:00 in the morning.

The Sports Director of the Municipality, Noel González, explained that 17 women's teams and 23 men's teams participate in this tournament, for a total of 80 competitors.

“There are 80 kids who will be playing for two months in this volleyball tournament, the Carazo academy, IND, Titanes, Managua City Hall, among other teams, are young people under 18, the beach volleyball games, athletics and taekwondo are the games that will be the most extensive in the Youth Games”, added González.
