Good Government unveils bust of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin

On the morning of this Thursday, October 28, the brother people and Government of the Russian Federation donated to the Capital of Nicaragua a bust of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, in a ceremony that took place in the Peace Park in Managua.

The unveiling ceremony was presided over by the authorities of the Good Government led by Commander Daniel and the Vice President, comrade Rosario Murillo, together with a delegation from the Russian Federation, officials of the Municipality and special guests.

A well deserved tribute to Yuri Gagarin, who was a Soviet cosmonaut and pilot who became the first human to travel to outer space, achieving an important milestone in the space race; Its capsule, Vostok 1, completed an orbit of Earth on April 12, 1961.
