The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, inaugurated this Saturday, October 23, a road improvement project in the Omar Torrijos Neighborhood of District VII of Managua, as part of the development and well-being of the community.
This work consisted of the asphalt coating of 3.5 blocks, with an investment of 1,900 thousand córdobas and is part of the emblematic Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who shared that the new streets directly benefit 679 inhabitants of this sector of Managua, guaranteeing a passable and accessible road network.
"We are happy that progress has arrived, now these streets completely change the lives of those of us who live here," said one of the residents of the neighborhood, Hazel Martínez.
