Final of the Indoor Tennis discipline at the Managua 2021 Youth Games

As part of healthy recreation and the promotion of sport in the different disciplines guaranteed by the Good Government directed by Commander Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, on the afternoon of this Friday, October 22, the final of the discipline of the Field Tennis at the Managua 2021 Youth Games.

Approximately more than 40 male and female athletes between the ages of 14 to 29 participated in this sport discipline, where they played in teams of four, once a month on the fields of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park since last 13 of August.

“This championship in the discipline of this first edition of the Managua 2021 Youth Games, was played in the group phase where the two best of each group will qualify and today the grand final is taking place on the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Park courts. Flores ”, said the Director of Sports of the Mayor's Office of Managua, colleague Noel González.

He added that a total of eight games will be played where the champion will come out in this first edition of the Managua 2021 Youth Games.

"For us it is important to learn from this sport, because it is an unusual sport, the great support that was given in this tournament is beautiful," said one of the participants, Katherine Martínez.
