











A few days after reaffirming the commitment to progress, peace and the future of Nicaragua, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated the paving of 6 new blocks, in the Concepción de María neighborhood of District VI.
This project was inaugurated and delivered to the community by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who announced that this work is part of the Streets for the People Program that promotes Good Government with the commitment to improve the quality of life of the Nicaraguan families.
The Deputy Mayor Armas announced that the work consists of the asphalt coating of 6 blocks, which were on land, improving access for public transport, household garbage collection, emergency services and patrolling; in addition to contributing to health, through the elimination of ponds in winter and dust clouds in the summer.
He also explained that these streets benefit 500 families in this area and had an investment of 2.44 million córdobas, which joins the road improvement projects, storm drainage, rehabilitation of public spaces and the construction of 60 decent homes. in this capital neighborhood, in the last 12 years, in which the Good Government has invested a little more than 20 million córdobas, in works for the common good.
Until now, the Streets for the People Program has progressed 75.5%, with 937 paved blocks of the 1,242 projected for this year 2021.
