First U-17 Women's Soccer Championship

Ten teams of young athletes participated this Saturday, October 16, in the first U-17 women's soccer championship, organized by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua at the Thomas Cranshaw Stadium.

This Saturday, October 16, the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado attended the game between the Las Leonas teams of the Mayor's Office of Managua and Walter Ferreti, where she expressed the commitment of the Good Government to support sport in its different disciplines, a sample of This is the 22 sports academies and the public infrastructure that has been built to promote the practice of sport.

This championship will take place in 5 months, in which 10 teams will play, divided into 2 groups each, these teams have faced each other for 3 months in the first round and the second will take place in two months, thus reaching the end of this first championship.

The sports day this Saturday gave the victory to the Las Leonas team of the Managua Mayor's Office, who beat the Walter Ferreti team 2 to 0, remaining undefeated in this first soccer championship.
