Protagonist of the traditional Acahualinca neighborhood enjoys his new home

The love and solidarity of the Good Government and the Embassy of Taiwan continue to bring happiness to families living in vulnerability, on the afternoon of October 6 they delivered a new house, this time to the protagonist Mrs. Teresa del Socorro Silva González in the traditional Acahualinca neighborhood of District II of the Capital.

The new protagonist of the Dignified Housing Program was very happy and excited to see her house completely rebuilt, “I first thank God because this dream came true, I also thank the people who have supported me, President Daniel Ortega, to Vice President Rosario Murillo, to the Mayor's Office and to Taiwan ”.

Doña Teresa, who has lived in this neighborhood for 42 years, recounted being a struggling mother and now with her blessing received, she has more courage to work, "especially because God helps me," stressed the protagonist.

This act of generosity and blessing to the protagonist family was presided over by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López, the Minister Counselor of the Embassy of China (Taiwan), Mr. Iván Lo and a delegation from this diplomatic mission.

"Today we have the opportunity with Mrs. Teresa, to be delivering the 39 dignified housing in this neighborhood, since our program began and in the same way, to the same number of families whose living conditions have been improved. , the protagonists have changed their vulnerable situation and today they will be able to have and rest in a decent roof, with the solidarity of our Government always and the Government of China Taiwan ”, said Porras.

The diplomatic representative stressed that for three years they have witnessed the joy of the protagonists who receive their new home and expressed feeling satisfied with having the opportunity to continue supporting families who have a difficult and vulnerable reality of life, “every time they We come to different neighborhoods we feel happy because with each delivery of solidarity housing, for us it is a mission accomplished and it encourages us to continue working and collaborating with the municipal authorities ”.
