Mayor of Managua participates in the University Meeting of Central America and the Caribbean

Managua hosted the V Central American and Caribbean Meeting of State University Volunteering, an event organized by the Central American Higher University Council (CSUCA), through which it is expected to contribute to improving the quality of regional life, promoting cultural exchange and integration. Central American.

The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, participated in this event, highlighting the importance of university volunteering for the integral development of society.

Likewise, he highlighted the good experience that the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power has had with the volunteering of the different universities, expressed in the care and conservation of the environment, as well as in actions that contribute to improving the living conditions of families.

For his part, Dr. Carlos Alvarado Cerezo, Secretary General of CSUCA, said that this event provides an important space for recognition and articulation between organizations, institutions, entities, which contribute to the strengthening of the promotion of actions that guarantee humanism, social and environmental commitment, solidarity, ethics and university excellence.
