Inhabitants of the Carlos Fonseca neighborhood inaugurate dignified streets

The inhabitants of the Carlos Fonseca neighborhood located in District III celebrated the construction of 3 new blocks of paved streets with a waste of joy and cultural gala, through the Streets for the People Program. The project directly benefited 1,617 protagonists, 341 families who had waited for these streets for 38 years.

The work has an investment of 2 million 110 thousand 985 córdobas, with these streets the emblematic program achieves an advance of 70 percent, with 870 blocks completed, delivered to the families of the capital, as reported by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado during the opening.

“We continue to deliver works of change, works of transformation that bring so much well-being to families in each of the neighborhoods, we are doing satisfactorily and we are proud of the progress, thanks to the political will of our Good Government, with this delivery the The Streets for the People Program achieves an advance of 70 percent, with 870 blocks completed ”.

 Yolanda Aburto, founder of the neighborhood, thanked the new road work on behalf of the entire community.

 “First, I thank God and our President Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo for helping us with this work in our neighborhood, we spent more than 35 years waiting and we felt happy, because the anguish and worries were over every time the winter".

The project directly benefited 341 families and in the coming days, the program, in its second stage, will benefit the neighborhoods Marcos Somarriba, Tierra Prometida, Buena Vista, Camilo Ortega, Germán Pomares, La Esperanza, Santa Ana Sur and the regions San Luis, Pochocuape, Nejapa and Chiquilistagua.
